Bamboo Care - Suggested Washing Method
As with all ropes, the aim should be to wash ropes only when absolutely necessary. Each person’s criteria for this will be different; however, minimal and spot cleaning is advised over regular washing.
Solid Colour Rope:
Handwash only. Use mild soap (for example, Castile soap) and lukewarm water. Harsh detergents will damage the rope. Dirt and stains can be removed by gently rubbing the rope. Bamboo is very absorbent; gently squeeze out dirty water, but do not wring the rope as it may damage the lay. Rinse with clean water and repeat as often as needed for the water to flow clean, ensuring that all soap residue is removed.
Airdry: Hang the rope to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Ensure it is fully dry before putting it away.

Multi-colour Ropes:
Handwash only. As above, however, wash in single-colour rope sections as much as possible. Clean the colour section you are working on, gently squeeze it out, and then move to the next section. This will minimise the chance of colours running.
